The Lumana'i Education Gift Fund (Our annual goal is $5,000)
Keeping Le Maota Community Space open for the community.
As you may have heard, the grant funding we were awarded that was put towards opening & operating Le Maota for the last 2 years has come to an end. We're asking for the support of the community, foundations, donors & sponsors to help keep our doors open & programming free/affordable to our Pacific Islander people.
This month, we're honored to have the talents of TOA ARTS facilitate this funfilled Karaoke & Paint fundraiser!
Join us for an enjoyable evening of Karaoke & Painting all for a great cause. Rachelle Su'a Jorris Owner of TOA Arts will lead us in a creative painting session, while we set the mood with our Karaoke *competative performances. All proceeds will help us to #SaveLeMaota

Samoan Solutions is a local non profit organization, based in San Mateo County. We exist to help enhance the lives of our Pacific Islander Community in the San Francisco, Bay Area through a series of programs, services, collaborative efforts and our community space Le Maota. Our mission to enhance the quality of life of Samoan/Pasefika people in the San Francisco Bay Area. We aim to:
Build strong relationships between our people & local community organizations
Promote awareness amongst our people of the human & social services available
Maintain Fa'a Samoa as a teaching tool & means of uniting the Samoan people through Arts, cultural, educational and community building events.
All in hopes of preparing our community for future success.
Our vision is two fold. In the San Francisco Bay Area, Samoan Solutions will have:
United the Samoan people across social & geographical boundaries by teaching and maintaining Fa'a Samoa, and
Ensured that the Samoan people are aware of social & human services that they require to be healthy and contributing members in their respective communities by bridging together the Samoan people with appropriate community entities that confer such services.
Samoan Solutions is currently a volunteer-run organization based in San Mateo County, CA with members from local cities including: South San Francisco, San Bruno, Daly City, San Jose and beyond. We are committed to taking an active role in contributing to the betterment of our people. This group started off as an idea to sponsor a single event and has developed into an effort to establish a lasting impact on our Samoan/Pasefika community.

October 28, 2023 - Samoan Solutions hosted its 15 year anniversary benefit celebration, at Le Maota - in Burlingame. Joined by long time Sponsors, Donors, Volunteers & new friends, the night was a tribute to their long term service in the San Francisco Bay Area. The benefit featured a silent auction fundraiser, Samoan dance, local fashions and a spread of food & drinks provided by local Pasefika businesses & testimonies from long time partners & our Co-founders/Board Members present & via video.
It was an evening full of love, community and hope for the future!
2023 marked a significant year with the launch of Le Maota, the inaugural cohort of Pasefika Boss Up, impactful partnerships, and many other achievements. We are grateful for the support of many individuals in making it all possible. Explore our annual report for further insights into our year.
